What I will most fondly remember from the Artist Project 2022 is the people. Support from friends and fellow artists, conversations about my work with strangers, and sometimes just watching people. In particular, I had a conversation with a young woman who came back to my booth for a second time. She said she brought her family this time because she wanted them to see my work.
What she said to me went to the essence of what my work is about. She said something to the effect that “In a world where everything needs to happen so quickly, where we expect immediate, instant gratification, your paintings allow me to slow down, to gradually allow them to reveal themselves.” Thank you.

I’m pleased to return to Toronto’s Artist Project this year, after a COVID-19 pause last year.  This year’s fair will be held from April 21 to 24, 2022 at the Queen Elizabeth Building, 180 Prince’s Blvd., Exhibition Place, in Toronto.  I will be in booth 810.
